Transfer Learning by Discovering Latent Task Parametrizations
We present a framework that is able to discover the latent factors that parametrize a family of related tasks from data. The resulting model is able to rapidly identify the dynamics of a new task instance, allowing an agent to flexibly adapt to task variations.
متن کاملP14: Anxiety Control Using Q-Learning
Anxiety disorders are the most common reasons for referring to specialized clinics. If the response to stress changed, anxiety can be greatly controlled. The most obvious effect of stress occurs on circulatory system especially through sweating. the electrical conductivity of skin or in other words Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) which is dependent on stress level is used; beside this parameter pe...
متن کاملUsing a Deep Reinforcement Learning Agent for Traffic Signal Control
Ensuring transportation systems are efficient is a priority for modern society. Technological advances have made it possible for transportation systems to collect large volumes of varied data on an unprecedented scale. We propose a traffic signal control system which takes advantage of this new, high quality data, with minimal abstraction compared to other proposed systems. We apply modern deep...
متن کاملClosed-loop fluid flow control using a low dimensional model
With constantly increasing environmental constraints, the need for ever more efficient aeronautical systems has driven fundamental research in many areas including mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, materials, . . . In particular, the active control of open flows has long been identified as a potential key factor to reduce the drag, enhance manoeuvrability, noise attenuation, etc. In this...
متن کاملOptimal Positioning in low-Dimensional control Spaces using Convex Optimization
A music analysis and control system for use in live performance is presented and demonstrated. Musical features, such as harmony, rhythmic patterning, or melodic structure, are extracted and automatically placed at appropriate locations in a control space. The control space is of low dimensionality, usually only two dimensions, wherein perceptual dissimilarity is represented as distance. The sy...
